Podcast Episode 17 – A Message of Hope

This last podcast is not about false hope. I hope it will show you that there is no linear line to recovery. There will be setbacks and there will be times when you will feel it is easier to continue on the path of codependency. The path to freedom is the road less travelled. I can assure you that it is a road worth taking. If you spend the time concentrating on yourself instead of how you can affect the outside world, your life and the discovery of yourself will mean quantum leaps forward.

Please be aware as a subscriber you have lifetime access to this programme. I would recommend that you return to it many times and redo some of the listening exercises under self-help and journalling.

Dr Nicholas Jenner

His specialty lies in treating codependency, a condition that is often characterized by a compulsive dependence on a partner, friend, or family member for emotional or psychological sustenance. Dr. Jenner's approach to treating codependency involves using Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, a treatment method that has gained widespread popularity in recent years. He identifies the underlying causes of codependent behavior by exploring his patients' internal "parts," or their different emotional states, to develop strategies to break free from it.
