    This started out as an article on why co-dependents find it so difficult to find a purpose. All reasons given are 100% true. Then, you discuss how important it is to find your purpose, and suggest a roadmap to getting there. Unfortunately, as a co-dependent, those steps to finding a purpose are the very things I find difficult to do. Is there any way of finding our purpose with the confines of co-dependency? If there were, then possibly, the chains of co-dependency could be broken or, at least weakened.

    1. Hi Jen. Finding your purpose means first becoming an individual even within a relationship. Finding your own values and principles, quality time for you and protecting those with healthy boundaries even with loved ones. Of course, it helps immensely if you are in a relationship with someone willing to look at their own issues and take responsibility for them.
